What a lovely old thing that is. I've always fancied one too, an itch never scratched if you like but I'm just not in a position to bid on that. Really hope rigger boots don't feature in its future.

That XJS convertable's reg number is appropriate, the front spoiler looks like it was modelled on Jimmy's chin.

When I sold this Jag, I was sure it was going to get broken for spares once the MOT expired. Nope, instead the MOT expired and the price has gone up nearly £1000!

That bonnet was a real fuckin' shame, but the seller I think is also offering a spare untouched bonnet lid to go with the car.

 

It has been hawked around before, always at the £2k mark. Only worth about £1250 with that V4 in it, and ye'll be spending at least that again to put a proper rotary back in there. Good opportunity to book it into Turnagain Motorsports Grazeley (formerly RoTechniks) or Hurley Engineering Coventry and ask for a 13B to be installed - goes quick with a Mazda and fuel consumption better overall.
