For most of its life, the Panther De Ville was Britain's most expensive production car, and it is easy to see why. Using mainly Jaguar mechanicals

That maybe so but aren't those Austin Maxi doors ?

I used to hate them, but now they’re growing on me. Perhaps I’m turning into Oliver Reed?

What a mess!

I was looking at some of the other suggestions that ebay throws up on every listing now, and I've come to the conclusion that I've badly underpriced Huggy.

I've always liked them, but then I always liked Cruella De Vil, she has style.

That green Rover 75 looks well nice for £550, I've been fancying getting a running 75 lately.

That's a 3k MR2.

Tops.

I paid £285 for a 2zz engine, with a T Sport Corolla attached. Not £1500.

I also picked up an engine lid for free when I spent £80 on a pair of leather seats. I'd never have paid £100 for it, let alone £300.

Either the fella is totally bullshitting with his numbers, or he's a total nugget.

We have put money into various repairs on the vehicle. But now we simply cannot afford to run a car anymore. So, if someone wants want to take on this car, we are selling it fairly cheap. Honestly, it does need certain repairs to improve and make it really roadworthy.

It requires being driven straight to the garage and having a few things fixing before it can be considered a great runner again.
First of all, the front shocks will soon need replacing. The power steering will thereby be affected so it is imperative that it is immediately taken to a garage for servicing. The fan belt is worn and will soon need replacing.

Yes they are. I know of a guy in Qatar who has 5 of these. He used to own the Jag dealers in the pre-Tata years. He’s also the guy who owns the XJ220 that is frequently incorrectly shown in the “abandoned XJ220 in the desert” photo (its actually pictured outside the group workshop where it now lives with the Panthers, having been fully restored) I’ll see if i can dig out my old photos when i’m home.

That MR2 looks like an £1,800 car that's been made £3,000 worse.

Don't suppose anyone on here wants or is interested in a late Frontera V6 SWB? Belonged to my friend's dad, but he recently passed away.

I believe it had a new clutch recently too. Comes with a CB radio...

I can't remember what he said he wants for it but not much more than scrap. I'll try and get some photos before I post a new thread. It has got MOT.

Found out the front brakes are possibly sticking. But yeah, £350 or so would get it apparently.

As a previous owner of a manual 2.0 V6 Xedos6, I can wholly recommend owning one of these.

Ahh, so the few bits missing are the engine, running gear and rear axle. Handy that.

Looks like a chain-driven RHD conversion. 1976 Ghia. Don't know if it started out originally as a 302 or a Cologne 2.8 V6 but who's gonna strip the mechanical bits from a V6 Mustang?

Guy has a forklift to help with the loading.

If the guy was to break it for spares, trim, glass, interior, lights, wiring looms & fusebox, electric window gubbins, body panels, all sorts of stuff, etc, or sell the slot mags (can only see 3 in the pics though!) Jo might be interested.

Or just buy it, strip it on a weekend day, and weigh in the rest. It's only useful to someone who already has one of these. Lots of hard-to-find fiddly bits there.

Can someone let her know about it please.
