Had one of these very briefly back in the day. It went through every gear in about .001 seconds, all the way to a top speed of about fucking 26.9mph flat out.

Old fashioned, silver, falling to bits and about as desirable as a dose of the clap. But enough about the Golf, look at this Daimler...

Heh, I had a DT50 which was very similar.  Fuck that thing was tiring to ride.  Especially getting on it after my CB125T which would do 30 in first.

Have you ever tried an NSR125? They were like a (very) speeded up MT50, in that you weren't in each gear very long before you hit the rev limiter (iirc) and it just hurled its way to about 72mph and that was it. Right laugh to ride, but probs be annoying over distance or in daily use.

I once went around the lake district on Suzuki TS50ER which needed a decoke.

There were times when I had to get off and push.

I went back the following year on a TS125ER and a couple of years later on a Z500 and the year after on an RD350LC

Nothing is as bad as a choked up moped

Seven Thousand Three Hundred, and then only a further Ninety Five pounds more.

Well, why not?

You could just hand over the cash now and drive it away today. It would be all yours.
