Could Barret's mystery car spot be a Riley 2.6 or something of that ilk?

I'd a quick look, maybe VW type 3 or a 411 2-door? Looks older though.

May be worth a post on the Ask A Shiter thread.

Once knew a man who's mate worked at the factory that made the stickers for the McD cups. Could buy sheets of them off him for a few quid. Made dishwater very cheap.

Those pictures were taken at a school 5 minutes walk from where I am.The caretaker there in the nineties used to do car repairs in the evenings & weekends using the 2 sheds in the background,including an engine change on my Granada Hearse :-)
