I'm not sure where to post this, so I'll just go ahead here!

A friend of mine is looking for a Suzuki Vitara Fatboy, preferably soft top. I'm concerned that he'll do something silly like he was tempted with today which is to swap his low mileage (about 50k miles I think) Citroen C4 VTS 180 in nice blue colour with cream leather interior and panoramic roof for a hard top Fatboy with no MOT for a year and advisories on last one for rust & poor repaires to rust!

Said VTS at Trax 2018 with my black one

As above, but from back

Fatboy!

So does anyone know of any Vitara Fatboys for sale or likely exchange for nice VTS?

Seems like a good deal to get rid of the C4 but my mate had a fat vitara when they were all the rage (for 5 minutes after they came out) and it was fucking terrible. Verdict: keep C4

Hnnng...

I wonder how the 1.1s drive compared to the 601s... (have to say I prefer the grill of the 601s over the 1.1s)

(curiously it comes up as TRABANT 1.1 U COMBI on the General check but Trabant 601 on the MOT checker, wonder what thats about)

It's even got his name already painted on the side.

That Fowler’s Plaxton coach looks great. If only we knew someone called Fowler who liked buses.

Cup holder? Wait... I got it... it's a holder to put the face plate of the stereo, for securities and that.

Fuck me, what a pile of shite.

"Started at £4,000, with a buy it now price which is sort of what I'm hoping for."

Keep hoping.

"Watch out for that cyclist on the left coming up.

I said watch out for that cyclist on the left, you're driving a bit too fast and too close to the side.

WATCH OUT FOR THE FUCKING CYCLIST ON THE LEFT!!!!

- Aww fuck man, NOW look what you've done, you've struck him and chopped him in half".

Bet he unbolted the mecanno rear wing at MOT time. It looks lethal.

Edit after reading the ad - that rear wing cost £700, and a further £400 for wing supports from the USA.

Sounds like someone you could sell magic beans to.

PMSL.

Is it wrong of me to want to buy this for the full asking price and then proceed to belt it with a sledgehammer in the sellers drive way?

'hi car was bought for it's interior but is now not needed'

Hats off to being possibly the first person in the world who wanted cloth rather than leather seats in their Calibra.
