I really don't need another car but an LPG'd Alfa....I do have an Alfa itch I need to scratch. Do you reckon they'd be open to an offer? Such a pretty colour!

Wonderd why i hadn't seen this for a while!

 

very reluctant sale but at 80 years old my Nan is hanging up her driving gloves 

 

probably for the best as last time i saw it she was doing 25-30 in a 60 for about 3 miles completly oblivious to the 10 or so cars stuck behined her.

It is really odd, that Audi have come to represent the most affulenza types, full of bitter anger that their possessions don't make them happy (other lazy stereotypes are available on request) when a generation ago they made old money engineer's cars full of austerity.

Oooft, that's a tad harsh,lol. I love my 12 yr old A6 Allroad. It ticks all the boxes I require for a working car. comfy car, fishing car, car for the dogs and offroad capability OK, I DON'T love the auto box and it's issues that have many heads being scratched. :mad:

It's on the Ilé de Ré, bit remote as a collection. Nice place for a holiday though.

I've driven to the Île d'Oléron in an XM, not too bad a journey from Dieppe. We were going to fly until we realised it would be quicker and cheaper by car. Including buying the car.

Yup, it is. Same as saying BMW owners don't indicate, or Peugeot owners are old giffers who can't drive etc etc. Just that human tribalism thing.
