Bastards! All bids on this have been cancelled and "this item is no longer available"!

I asked them on your behalf. This is the reply:

"Hello

I didn’t look too promissing,cause I wouldn’t let it go cheaper than 1000.

But if I cancel lusting in shorter notice than 24 hours they could limit my account!

That’s all as explanation. Thx"

Better off with that Lancia Gamma for 795

I like 'em, but my bollocks (not to mention my bank balance) are too small to own a car that requires the engine removing to change the alternator...

Whoever told you that was talking bollocks. It's only a 2 hour job. Ask me how I know!

Those Fiestas (further up page) do seem to attract owners who don't know what 'cleaning' means. Had two or three now that have been absolutely gopping inside.

Serves them (vendor) right then, put a reserve on it or start at the price you want.

When I sold mine, it was in somewhat better condition than that, but the big problem with mine was the roof skin (which the eBay seller interestingly doesn't reveal in the photos). Only got a grand for it.

I used Style 31 15" alloys during winter as well. Tyres only about 60 quid.....

I can just imagine being treated in the back of that ambulance. A splint made from some scrap wood and string, bandages made from some old rags, a drop of vodka splashed over any wound, all carried out by a chain-smoking attendant.

Ah well.  No way that was worth a bag as a non-runner with no test.

£3k - 'no rust', if it's rust free and doesn't need rebuilding within 3 years, then, ok.

umm...

A decent starter price now. But check that the chassis has been replaced ( the side panels have a tell tale bulge), some G reg ones had three under warranty!

I think a practical classics issue several years ago had one in an article and prices of £1500 a front wing were mentioned.

Those Viragos look nice, but are impossibly gutless.

its a learner legal 125, so wouldn't expect it to have anything closely resembeling "performance"......

That Safrane is nothing short of perfect. I would, and really want to buy it, but that sort of car needs a garage.

Chaps, I've been offered a Lancia Y 1.2 for a grand, is that too salty and would anyone on here want it? It's now UK registered. I would jump at it but I'm about to buy a house and Mr Mortgage Broker will be looking very carefully at my spending habits...

Wow this looks fantastic. If I was looking for a cheap economical car, the Y would be very high on my list!
