I had a Corgi toy version of that, by undoing a screw underneath you could remove the rear bodywork and swap it for a different one, changing it from a van to a pick up or an ambulance, I think there was a fourth body but I can't remember what it was.

Wow Vulg, there are some rare finds there, is that a result of hours of hard work, or just the 'luck' of insomnia?

Also 'lawnament', what am absolutely fantastic word, I've never heard it before so in my world you're getting the credit for inventing it, unless you say otherwise. I'll be trying very hard to use it as many times as possible in general conversation over the coming few days.

I was thinking exactly the same and the fourth body was a milk float.

"Hi

Think you may have a motorsport version with a highland trim( full leather in dashboard ) could be 1 of only 188 made

Colour if it is a motorsport should say Macu ?? ( check spelling ) blue.

If it has no chrome around the windows and chrome bumpers - ie matt black around the windows and colour coordinated bumpers then its also a shadow line model"

Oh, yeah I've been watching this for entertainment purposes for what seems like weeks.

Am I mental for actually wanting that diesel Mk1 Golf?  Not going to, fortunately.  But it tickles me so.

No. We're all on here because we think like that. I bought my diesel Peugeot a short while back for no good reason other than feeling a bit sorry for it, having always sworn I'd never have a diesel. Now I love it and use it all the time while the Skodas all take a winter break.

There were actually two chassis cabs, red and white, leading to some interesting combinations. It was one of the best gifts Santa ever gave me, and I still have it in its original box.

This looks like a reasonably good way into W126s. Currently at £1250 with a day and a bit to go.

The seller is fed up of the usual eBay buyer shit. Either that or the pictures flatter it massively and people are sensibly backing out. Possibly a bit of both.

Edit: now £1430

I like 126's and it does look well but it's a Cat C which he doesn't state as such so perhaps misunderstandings arise. Affects value on old cars too.

Automatic.

I had one once, overtaking took more patience than a life sentence stuck in a cell with Nigel Mansell.

I do not know how i managed to get onto a site in NZ but there I am and here are some results.

Bad things...
As not driven much she doesn't start on a whim. Pull start gets her blood pumping though. Have turned off and sat for a bit and it fires right up again.
Generally needs some love, a cut and polish and some engine work, poss water pump.
One headlight smashed but will replace before we part ways.
