better to have a restored (ie repaired) minor instead of a minor with no floor, sills or chassis legs?

Restored and repaired aren’t the same thing at all, though. And there’s such a thing as over-restoration, too.

Don’t get me wrong, that Minor looks nice enough and is keenly priced for the condition. But I’d be having all that badge tat off the front of it and trying to get a bit of honest dirt on it as fast as possible.

A very early early Maxi with 'Austin' on the bonnet, £2k no offers. I assume it has no MOT. Looks like it's part of a collection that needs shifting and includes the Toyota van (?) next to it.

Edited to put in correct link.

That's a ringer ringer chicken dinner.

That's an early maxi identity, grille and badging transfered over to a late Mk2. Dashboard would be completely different too. Shame as otherwise it looks a very tidy car.

I can see it now! There was something nagging me about it but I couldn't quite place what it was.

The fabric seats don't look right to me...and of course the dashboard now I see it.

That whole picture is amazing.  It should be framed and hung in an art gallery, the sort where pretentious people drone on about how much everything is worth.  "Oh yes, it's a GENyouIN LeBONcoin, dontchaknow.  I've got FOUR at home.  I got them in a RaaaaaFFLE."
