Like the styling.................but a Pinto..........?

Early slim bumper 2 doors are a pretty thang. Until @1974 that had either a German made 2000 Pinto or a UK built 1600 Xflow. This red one looks very sweet, saves the page from all the nasty 3 pointed nonsense.

 

8 grand isn’t too obscene if it’s in nice nick. I’d still want a 71-3 Galaxie or LTD for that money tho.

Blimey, on UK plates, MOT'd. Pictures without the grille are a bit worrying (asked the question). Watchlisted anyway.

Grille is on place apparently, pics without it were taken after it was painted.

the air filter is missing ,  the engine hasn't been started in a long while and I have made no attempt to start it .

think there might be more than that missing.Shouldn't there be a brake accumulator where that spare coil sits ?

 

Still he only wants 35 grand for it.

That Romanian satellite channel will probably buy it, then cover it in homemade adverts and park it by the North Circular.

Apparently, these have got sodium filled valve stems, which, if you don't strip the engine after a long hibernation, have the habit of exploding when you try and fire it up..............

You suspect exactly right - in fact, I’ve got one.

They certainly have and it happens to biturbo's as well, the one I had a couple of years ago did it. The stems corrode and the heads drop off.
