Yes, probably the driver. No idea, never got to drive one other than on Sega "OutRun"! All I've read is that they are (still) a demanding car cost-wise to run, but if you don't run it, then it suffers. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. But nice to look at, I'll grant you - a true 1980s wall poster.A family friend up in Aberdeen has one which he bought out of auction some years ago to add to his collection of otherwise random chod that he keeps in a split-level private museum:attachicon.gifWP_20130803_001.jpgHe can afford it - he runs a haulage company. Unfortunately, after getting it over the kerb into his driveway (his house is some way below the level of the road), he had doubts about his ability to drive it back out again without scraping the bottom. I suspect it might still be sitting in front of the house....attachicon.gifWP_20130803_006.jpgattachicon.gifWP_20130803_007.jpgattachicon.gifWP_20130803_009.jpgattachicon.gifWP_20130803_011.jpg

They do sound good though, compared to the mclarens we have outside every day the Italians sound a world apart. the current mclaren sennas have been beaten by the uggly stick even compared to these testarossas which where always a but bulky.

There's another Testarossa which is kept in a secure garage at Commonwood, near the stables. Only ever seen it come out in the summer. Suspect it costs its owner an arm and a leg.

Still got its Colborne dealer plate on the back of it, too.  Just about legit still....

That 6/110 is terrible.

Over spray on rear wheels and on the door seal felt.

God awful wheels

Nice conversion for the rear suspension, but a tarted up paint job. Over spray on brake lines

No spare wheel cradle.

Time clock not original.

Description says only partly restored.

All adds up to it is way too much money.

Same dealer is also offering this.

What do you do when your shonky Wraith has been bid to a respectable 30k considering its condition?

Correct.

You relist it for twice that with the same half arsed pics and description.

I'm pretty sure that Escrot belonged to that Bruce fella from the blue, who used to run the Area 52 workshop. It would have been a few years back now though- it was immaculate at the time.

Edit: looking at the plate, it's definitely the same one. Looks to have been used and abused in the meantime.

Edit again: Found the thread:
