Whoever put those alloys on that Wolseley Farina thing needs a properly good shoeing one night in the pub car park.

Despite having twice the required amount of strokes, and probably some of the fairing missing, this Suzuki 750 Ricky Martin Kirsten Dunst thing is quite fit.

'only covered 336 miles since complete engine rebuild'

And only another 24 before it needs new pistons and rings.

You'd think so.. They all cost much the same to run, i.e. ruinous.

Same car, turns out to be JDM-spec - I wouldn't have it in black, though, because heat absorption. Also LHD, because Japan.

Weren't they considered a bit of a nag in their day? Nonetheless I really like them and the basic shape is what a Ferrari should be to me (mid engine, side streaks, flip up lights, square lights behind the grille).

Yes, probably the driver.

No idea, never got to drive one other than on Sega "OutRun"! All I've read is that they are (still) a demanding car cost-wise to run, but if you don't run it, then it suffers. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. But nice to look at, I'll grant you - a true 1980s wall poster.

A family friend up in Aberdeen has one which he bought out of auction some years ago to add to his collection of otherwise random chod that he keeps in a split-level private museum:

He can afford it - he runs a haulage company. Unfortunately, after getting it over the kerb into his driveway (his house is some way below the level of the road), he had doubts about his ability to drive it back out again without scraping the bottom. I suspect it might still be sitting in front of the house....

That Carlton replica looks great. As said pity the 12v engine isn't much of a performer. Needs added bin lorry turbo.
