This looks like an impressively joyless heap of shite. Just look at those steamed-up non-tinted windows, wanky 1960s engine and wobbed-up rear arches, then look me in the eye and and tell me you WOULDNT. Come on!!

Sadly, I can see someone in 10 years going on a fruitless mission to save something like that - egged on by a load of random strangers from an internet forum.

That someone, naturally, being me.

I spotted this in my local ‘Roys’ shop and had to take a second look!

All I know is what the pic shows, the address is on the advert and was 30 secs drive away so I did a drive by to get the reg for MOT history stalking...

P113 HOX, short MOT but only ever failed once!

It was tucked up in a carport of a bungalow on a small housing estate, there was a new White Meriva on the drive... My guess is they’ve owned this since new and decided to modernise.

I reckon this is bargain of the year for someone, quick before KGF get their hands on it!

Hope it’s of some use to one of you, Id love it but mrs JJ says we don’t need a Rover. She’s right. :(

Located in East Dereham, not too far from Kings Lynn / Norwich

Holy. Fucking. Christ.

That is, I SWEAR, the guy I bought my Granvia from 4 years ago!

Just gonna check the address on Google Maps.

YES!!

There they are.

He is a lovely, lovely man.  He sold me the Granvia back in 2014 as he said he was too old to Caravan anymore.

Someone please buy it!

I really, really want it.

I have loads of space but don't really have £300 + an impending MOT test spare, or the need for it.

Could always bring into the family then roffle. Tickets would be sold out before you got to his house.

I considered this but I'd barely break even let alone the hassle of insuring it etc!

EDIT: This is my 214th post. It's a sign.

I was thinking precisely this

I was thinking precisely this

It'd have to be £8.50-£9 a ticket to make it even worth me bothering!

"Superluxe"

s-l1600.jpg

uh-huh.

Thats one way to describe it. It intrigues me what the 'L' model has inside. a deckchair perhaps, or an upside down bucket to sit on and a bit of hairy string to tie around your waist as a seatbelt?

'I have a Dennis Dart for sale, plenty of spares recently out of MOT.. passed last year with NO ADVISORIES, that can be checked online.. vehicle has done less than 100 miles since last year..

Vehicle starts first time and drives very well.. would make brilliant campervan or bar bus, but it still makes a brilliant bus and would be nice to see it live on as it is now becoming a rare classic..

For sale due to personal reasons.. £1350 ono price includes spares.'

Gyorgy Andi, Facebook Market Place, somewhere near Frodsham. Which is pretty handy, as you can drive on the marshes near there and stick the bastard right into the Manchester ship Canal where it belongs.

Why do so many "camper" vans look like the opening scene in Electra Glide in Blue where the geezer cooks up a pork chop whilst tying his mate's big toe to a shotgun trigger?
