I know not a lot about these, £4,500 seems a lot for a 333,000 mile motor. How much were they new? What justifies the price?

They hold their value extremely well. It feels like high initial outlay, agreed, but that’s actually a good price for a full sized one and it’ll never be worth much less as long as it has an MOT.

As soon as my commute shortens, then I can consider one to fulfil my needs as a daily beater AND 7 seater (although this one just has the 5)

19 stamps though on a 330000 mile motor. I know everyone sticks to manufacturers recs but every 18000 just isn't enough oil changes. Actually I can't believe I've just said that when the fuckers done that many miles. Maybe I spend too much time changing oil

I hadn’t done the maths, and you’re not wrong - this should have been done every 9k if it’s even vaguely similar to the 3.0 TD like what the surf’s got.

Actually, having read the advert again it’s FMDSH up to 280k. But, as you say, all academic when it’s 330 not out.

*BARGAIN*

Has been remapped to 300+ bhp has a 5 stage re-map on.

Unfortunately it needs a new engine as the bottom end has gone.

People like this shouldn't be allowed to own a car. Wth did you expect to happen from an engine that was made to produce 225hp?! Also note that the price for this wreck is about the same as a decent running S3.

£350, no engine or box. He's off to find out if it has a V5 and if so, what it's down as.
