The Safrane was indeed £400 but was sold I was told to a local chap who was infact a trader and advertised it for £1250 the next day!

2.0 is slow and underpowered for the body weight,2.2 was better,anyone going to have a punt on this?

I think its called "buying for stock" ie take a punt on a cheap good looker that will sit well on the forecourt. Doesn't matter if it hangs around for a while and if it doesn't sell run it through the auctions.

The "cruise control: untested" boils my custard. Either, he hasn't driven it more than quarter of a mile or it is broken. Whichever it is, it's a bollocks thing to our in an add and I'd be that dick looking to chip off £500 just to be a dick.

Did they build them at the factory that used to be in Coventry maybe?

 

 

Could be, maybe it hasn't got a chassis number so can't be registered ,though that doesn't seem to stop the defenders ending up back on the road when the old chassis snaps in half

Damaged before sale. Flood perhaps

The description says the lights were vandalised and so was the bodywork. The rest is fine. 30 miles from new.
