...or strange men from the North West of England with a penchant for old large-engined barges and bizarre ideas about what constitutes breakfast.

Knowing that everyone here is more into this than anyone else in the world, I thought I should help a very good friend of mine with selling his awesome '86 Daihatsu Domino. It is a very honest, clean car and he put a lot of effort into this little Daihatsu to make sure its stays that way during his ownership. If you are interested please let me know, he's looking for a good home for it.

And to proof that he is one of us: He bought that 330Ci convertible parked right next to it to swap the drivetrain into his 200 quid Skoda Felicia pickup, RWD conversion and everything.

That Domino is gorgeous, if more than double my budget..

I think it's inside a shipping container and it;s somehow chained to the roof to allow another car to be stowed underneath. Those chains from the wheels stop it swinging about.

Presumably have to be chained to the roof from the wheels, a !400kg plastic car with a huge front clamshell, a targa roof and fairly large glass rear hatch isn't going to be easy.

This is a very scruffy Corvette for sale. Does anyone know WTF is going on with underside pics? How is it supported? I know what it looks like to me but how and why....

Turn your monitor upside down and the photos make more sense. Its hung in a container upside down by chains. Presumably there was another car on top.

My knowledge of 1990s Japanese cars is based on playing Gran Turismo on the Playstation 2.  While everyone recommended starting with an MX5 or a Mitsubishi FTO to win some rookie races, I got myself a Mitsubishi GTO on the grounds that 3 litres must be better than 1.8

This one is a 4x4 for maximum Japanese weird points, manual gearbox too

New Beetles of course are a bargain compared to the aircooled ones, I think this is the speediest type - a V5 which makes 170bhp

I really like those wheels, one of the best alloys this century IMHO.

And the V5 must be worth a shot. Not so much a V engine as a squeezed-up inline, but unique and unlikely ever to be copied. More of a Lancia V4 plus one than a V6 less one.

But fark me, the rest of these New Beetles is too like the grim old mk4 Golf.....and I don't want to go there. Again.
