That Magnette made it a fair way inland. I always remember the dozens of old Brit cars dumped at Le Havre in the seventies; Rover 2000's, Mark 2, 10 and 420 Jaguars, 1800's and stuff. It was students who bought a big cheap old car, toured France, dumped it at the ferry port and came back as foot passengers.

Absolutely bog standard dash that. Mate had one of these at uni. Used to thrash the bollox off it everywhere which you had to with only around 34bhp to play with.

Yup, totally standard! I remember sitting in one at the 1987 Earls Court motor show and admiring the dash design. In fact my technical drawing projects were mostly cars and all had a very sparse dash as I was heavily influenced by Panda thinking.

 

Still am. What more do you really need?
