I contacted him on that as no bids on it.

He's wanting 1000 for it

Anyway I'm top bidder. No more from rover lickers SVP

Hmm, listed as no reserve in ACA last week and looking at the results it didn't sell. So either nobody wanted it for 50 quid or he's not averse to a bit of shill bidding.

It’s a muthaflipping Mitsuoka!!! Or an ideal way to have your Austin 1100 cake with the reliability of quality Japanese engineering. But the sills need welding which makes it remarkably similar to its British influence.

Good job Keith, I saw that at ACA too, and it did look very clean (with the worst marks on the paintwork being one or two stone chips).

It hadn't gone through when I left, even though it was due to, and I doubt it got sent through with no bidders, as a few people were looking at it prior to the auction. However a few of the prior no reserve cars went through for not very much, so it might have been pulled out at the last minute to avoid going for bugger all (if it is possible to do that).

Nonetheless, I very much doubt it will go for £1k, no matter how nice it is. It is a very low spec one (not even having any wood trim) without much in terms of service history, which may put some people off (apart from on here, where low spec is a badge of honour).

Good luck anyhow; I suspect you could be in for a pretty good deal.

CLASSIC

Not really.

QUALITY BUILD

No.

Safe

Really no.

Heated Mirrors

I strongly doubt that.

ABS

I strongly doubt that too.

airbags

Zero.

Quick

Is what it is not.

Wheels and New tyres

Oh good, it has wheels for those new tyres to be on.

Verdict: I don't know. Were they thinking of a different car?

Aren't those front wheels awfully far back in the wheel arches too?

You'll probably be alright, it's pure base misery spec, zero options.

No wood inside, cloth seats, manual mirrors, no sunroof, no rear headrests, no boot spoiler etc. Bit of a sad place to be compared to what they can be in SLi, SEi or GSi spec.

The wheels look to be 13"s too

If that was an early model without the stuck-on grille, it'd have a carb and manual choke.

Still thinking of you dude.

I have to say - it looks bloody good.  Then again, I've got form innit.

Too dear with that roof, but at £500?  Mebbe.

When pointed out by a kind few on here of it going through ACA and no bids..

He's sent me another mail..

There were no bids because the wallys couldn't start it! It had been left with a light on, the battery was flat and it immobilized itself. If you want a more sensible price, £700 and its yours.
