Surprisingly un-fucked-looking Mk1 Escort.  Unfortunately it's been raped of its identity, which probably means it's parts only.

Not seen a Baromotors dealer sticker for yonks - good old Southampton trader that was!

He bought that last year for 700odd, done minimal and shifting it on. Been on eBay a couple of times now, all auctions. First £3k start, then 2.5k start and finally 2k start. Slowly getting to a reasonable price. Likely needing a fair bit of welding underneath and not MOT exempt for a few years still.

I shouldn't think it was all that minty when Baromotors had it!    Hopefully it will find a better home (but not here, at the mo!)

A mere two hundred pounds. Yes, that's right, two hundred pounds. Where I come from, that's two ton, eight ponies, or two fifths of a monkey.

I want to Service and polish this to within an inch of its little life and paint those steelies white....I think I need help

This is lovely. Money, but fully restored, no rust! Rebuilt 2200 engine! If I had the cash, I'd just buy this right now. I can't imagine there's anything in such a nice car to put me off.

Unless....
