You'd have thought so, but they are actually full of constant issues at higher mileages, avoid!

What sort of issues? Mrs is looking at getting one for elderly parent taxi duties.

All routine stuff, the petrol engines are essentially sound, but there is always something, leaks, creaks, failing bearings etc etc. Get a Jazz I think. However, if it's a couple of thousand miles a year a Fusion will be ok I expect.

Access is really good.

Here's another bloke who finds buys nice cars at auction and then writes a load of twaddle about them...

Honestly, I would much rather read the Hoseley thread than this pish.

What a load of flowery, birthday card shite.

i think water pump has gone as water leaking from somewhere and temp goes into red and change water sensor to no luck

engine light is on because of dpf filter but does not affect driving

abs and traction light on because of sensor driver wheel needs replacing but does not affect driving

dont have back box on but does come with back box

has cracked in windscreen

Fuck me, anything else?

in good condition

Yeah sounds a total minter pal

Heuliez?

I wonder if this was a late conversion done to alleviate the difficulty in finding a spare rear windscreen. All the glass in a standard Bijou is apparently specific to the car, and is not shared with any other model.

They were only made in Slough and sold in the UK  so Heuliez getting involved in a one off is unlikely ...(just saw your post a bit further down the page already confirming where they were made!)

I think Barratts suggestion is probably how it came about.

That's an early(ish) 1.4, not many left at all now. I miss my 1.2, that was a hoot! 1.4 wasn't bad if the oil way's didn't clog and wreck the camshaft.
