PROBABLY THE MOST POWERFUL AND FASTEST CAR ON EBAY FOR THE MONEY

I'm thinking about getting in touch with the geezer about this. I am aware that the cam belt on these 20v fiats is right up there amongst 'jobs you dont want to get involved with'. Is anyone aware of any sites which give a bit of info about the misery of tackling this job at home?

^ Having 'School transport' on the front of your house is a sure way of attracting an imbecilic mob to kick your head in.

I know nothing about those Fiat's Bo1 but I recall something about checking they have both keys as if you lose one you need to reprogram the ECU which is mega £££'s or something like that.

I'm guessing Nigel Bickle would be the man to ask as he owns a couple of Coupe Turbo versions.

I can see the blue key in the boot lock, I think that's the main one you need.

I'd buy it but I'm not sure if it'd been downgraded to a motorhome and can be driven on a car licence.

I'd take anything the seller says with a pinch of salt tbh - if he can get 28mpg out of a Bedford 500-powered coach he's a bloody miracle-worker.

This looks like a bit of a bargain, but the 1050cc engine and 4 speed box makes it a bit thrashy at speed

A mate had one like this 20 years ago, I think it was a 1200S and this one's a 1300S. Quite zippy if I remember right

This must be quite rare now, 1800cc, 2 door and manual box. The rarest thing of all is that it's not wearing 20" alloys with fuck-all tyre tread

A driver at work had one and he swears you don't need to get the engine out, or whatever 'the book' says. If I see him this week I'll tap him for the gen on it.

I've always liked these early RX7s, this one's got a manual gearbox which is quite unusual. I test drove one of these ages ago, there wasn't enough compression to start the engine so I sensibly walked away, but I still like them

Be the WINNA of your next line dancing night out!

Got to hand it to the owner, the write up is pretty comprehensive

INTRIGUE ing. These little Mazdas are great. I used to drive one, which was a company car in the place I used to work and really liked it even though it's just a 1.5. This one's just £195

This mx-5 is just 5 minutes from my work. Seems pretty tempting for £450 until you realise the brakes are all locked on and it needs a new hood. You could probably buy one without all these problems for the combined total and not have all the pissing around.

Only discovered these come with a V6 the other day. And the ZXi model was available with mad tan leather as well. Straight on the bucket list. I had a 1.8 Auto Executive last year. Great car!

Fiat Coupe 5cyl turbos- the engine does not need to come out to do the belt. Mine has been done twice by an ex Fiat sole trader & he does it by raising the front end only. Havent seen him actually perform, but it takes around 3 hours and costs around £200, all in.

Re- keys, you always want the red one, but I've never had any issues with any of our 3 Coupes over key probs. And some of the mileages are intergalactic -by Fiat standards.

Feeling a bit down? Just stare at this Sunny honey for a few hours, everything will look a lot more positive I promise.

A good polish and some trim wax would sort that out a treat, although that yellow is a strange, sickly eighties shade even when fresh. Not in bad shape really considering, looks solid in the important places anyway. Wasn't cavette after one of these?
