Yo Boll - here's another 5-pot Marea. Slightly more expensive than the other one and needs a bit of tlc, but it's got a bit of test and plenty of rent so doesn't look too bad for the money I reckon.

'A LOT OF THE WORK DID NOT NEED DOING BUT I HAD THEM DONE FOR MY PREFERENCE'

'SLIGHT NOISE ON ALTERNATOR, PASSENGER SIDE DROP LINK POSSIBLY NEEDS RENEWAL'

Always a good idea that. If my car fails the MOT on £675's worth of welding I think I'll just buy some new wheel trims, a CD player and a set of snazzy new mats.

Can these VOSA twats give you a roadside MOT then and wheelclamp your ass till you have fixed everything they don't like?

Worse. With commercials I think they can sort of seize them on spec, get them towed away somewhere then carefully and considerably tear you a new arsehole in the process. When I bought my last recovery truck (5.6 tonner) it had failed the VOSA (truck place) MOT on a slight brake imbalance. The owner (who ran a garage) said no bother, I'll drive it back and fix it. OH NO YOU WON'T. They called in a heavy recovery place and made them tow it back at great expense to the owner.

I got pulled in a Transit by them once and the officious wanker who was checking it over and found a sidelight bulb out. Honest to God it was like he'd come home early to find me knobbing his missus while his alsation watched and I finished off by defecating on his SS insignia.

Not sure about vans but i have seen foreign trucks parked up outside yard with a massive bike lock through the wheels so they cant drive away

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the case. We got tugged in the work van which was fortunately deemed worthy at the time. Thank fuck they weren't doing trailers that day as the one on the back was well shoddy!

That sounds like Little Hitler syndrome. We have to get our minibuses tested at the truck test centres. One of them failed on brake efficiency. There was no problem with me driving it 12 miles back to our repairer. Or maybe that's just Wales...

I think they can 'lock' vehicles up like that if they've gone over their driving hours, thereby forcing the drivers to have their required rest hours. Yonks back they (Vosa) only came out between about 10.00am-2.00pm on nice sunny days as they CBA otherwise. You'd know when they were about as all the drivers would flash their lights and give you the thumbs down so you might 'accidentally' cut through the lanes between Ellesmere Port and Saughall, therefore managing to miss them at the end of the M56.

Anyhow they're self funding now so sit on dock sides at 4.00am waiting for ships to come in then jumping on the wagons to make sure the drivers use capital letters at the start of their names on the tachograph, or they get a six million pound fine.

*Edit: Ian, it was Wales where they had me. They got me on the weighbridge in Ewloe and were also nearly creaming themselves because I was 200kg short of my max load and started giving me down the banks about it.

What in the name of Christ were they thinking!!!!

Q: Hi, Do you have the original bumpers and whatever bits have been removed, to go with the car? Jake.

A: Hi no dont have the original bumpers. I was going to use BMW bumpers and modify then to fit. But it turned out that I hadn't a fucking clue what I was doing so I ended up eating my shoes instead and now I live in a castle in the sky made out of chips. I LOVE MADONNA

Maybe it's because I've been listening to too many Sherlock Holmes audio books but the older look of the picture, low mileage, dent in the quarter and headless driver is freaking me out.

Looks like this car was used as a jumping off point for a cardigan wearer's suicide bid

WTF with the Maserati? I hope that gets put back to 'normal'. It looks great in that sunburst yellow.

'GOOD NANKANGS ALL AROUND (NO MIS MATCHED TYRES WHICH IS A SIGN OF POOR MAINTENANCE)'

Fuck, aye. I too did the same by merely removing the one week old Michelins (front axle) and Goodyears (rear axle) and fitting a matching set of four Wank Li Roadtossers immediately.
