If you gave me £600 and put a gun to my head and told me I had to drive this route in one go without encountering any mechanical failure whatsoever I would buy that without a second thought.

 

It would do the journey back without any problems as well.

if anyone is interested, then I am considering getting the windows tinted/blacked out, and having the chunky tyres fitted WITH 1 INCH SPACERS too (like my black one has). Plus, if I get the time, energy & money, then I'll try to have the new touchscreen system installed ready to go, and also a reversing camera fitted (but I cannot guarantee this, though it would be a nice to have!) - of course, the price will increase to reflect said costs.

What sort of total mental case is still spending ££££ on a great long list of shitty accessories, for a car that he's got up for sale? Clearly a grade a lunatic. Mind you, you could deduce that just from the car and accessory choices to be fair.

I think someone needs to report this Investment advisor to the FSA.  The administration costs of holding this investment are going to be higher than the long term gains. This is like buying BP shares the day before the Horizon disaster. 

 

Yes I should have bought a 3 door cosworth for £10K in 2006 instead of a bathroom and paying off the loan on my loft conversion, because some cars can be an investment. But this ? It's not about to increase in value by 3 times in the next 10 years is it?

hmmmmm, that metro is it was once an hle should not have the high fuel filler that is a feature on the very late austin metro's and the rover ones.

The shell is OFF a metro. The Rear wing is off a later metro.  I suspect the bodyshop that specialises in Metro's had a batch of late quarter panels and decided to fit that.

I am sure it's NEVER been ringed. Never.

When this dealer says 'PX anything considered' they mean 'anything taken in part exchange no questions asked', they've had some proper mingers in the past. That 440 is pretty nice looking though.
