You don't often see the uber base-spec versions with bare steels and black bumpers, especially in this condition. My uninformed guess is they started spec'ing these up fairly quickly once the Focus came along. It needs 4 new window weatherstrips for a start and that's £80-90 (not merely cosmetic, the old ones scratch the glass). No idea about cambelt. Obv egg Mondeo inspection services are available. Being half Italian I should know this, but is it still virtually impossible to export a car from Italy due to the aggro with the plates?
