What kind of knob headed, ignorant dip shit would break a 105 mile car, no matter what car it was!

Somebody here, Please buy this and save it. PRONTO

That Maestro advert does say it's not getting broken for three weeks, and can be sold whole in that time.

So do we think he's

A - saving on listings fees for a whole car by listing it as WHEEL BOLT 4 SALE CONTACT ME FOR PARTS U NEED

B - generating some interest in the classic car communities who are really easy to get all frothy and will probably club together to buy it for whatever price he wants

C - both of the above, the clever little sod.

Didn't he want upwards of 7K for it (or is my memory off again)?

At that price he can break it, he won't get 7K for the bits.

Sounds Dodgy...

The Tosser that i got this vehicle off has a small loan against the logbook i have spoken to the company they said i can dispose of the van. it is still registered to the previous owner so DVLA should issue a new one.
i am closing my business

&

Ok long story but i sold my car and nocked £100 of the price,
Got van running put through MOT. but never got the log book, down loaded form but never sent it off, so i am listing it as Spares for this reason

An "Instant Access" cherrypicker would defy all laws of physics, if it instantly moved you to a position 20ft in the air you'd be subjected to infinite gravitational forces leaving you a mere stain on the floor of the cradle.

Just saying.

Congratulations on being the 100,000th poster to this thread.......Do i win £5 for this spot?..

'Alright love, just off to collect that pick-up I won in Cornwall'

Ooh, Cornwall! What time will you be home, about 10.00pm?

Three weeks next Tuesday.

Grim. Comes with 'complete mechanical overhaul kit' in a lettuce box included in the purchase price. You'd need a wiper blade for the MOT though, as such I'm out. Also, you'd definitely get tetanus from the interior.

The 105 mile Maestro is also listed on Car and Classic for £9,750.

Yeah he's not breaking it, just trying to get a bit of attention I think, I read somewhere he paid 2900 for it at an auction, its never gonna break for even that much I reckon, Maestro restorers are not exactly a flippin bunch of high-rollin playboy characters with money to burn

he paid 2900 for it at an auction,

Wow, only about £2400 more than it's actually worth then. What a fucking sausage.

At least breaking it might reduce his hideous losses by, oooooh, £150?

I used this car for 6 months back in 2006 and attended many shows with many admirers. The car was essentially excellent but needed some work.

Could be good!

It was took off the road and had the rear half of the sills replaced by a professional car restorer, he cut the old sill completely out and welded in new. He also did a couple of bits where the headlights fasten to.

Going to be smart, this!

I decided to go the full hog and make the car as good as I could.

Can't wait to see what an excellent job you did!

Bravo.

Well, you didn't mention any prolific paedophiles in your listing, so you're still doing better than the other person selling a MK1 Cavalier at the moment.

More bullet dodging:  After the shiny red Lancia Beta 2000 Coupe pictured here a while back supposedly sold for 3200, I heard from the seller, whose buyer had failed to show up.  I sent the bloke a few messages asking about the condition of the car, but the bloke didn't answer, and wouldn't even give his name, limiting himself to "wen ar u comin 2 get the car?" and so forth.  I suspected either a scam or a pillock, or both, and bailed.  The Shite Fairies are protecting me from the stupid!  This is probably because they are saving me up for something really dumbass.
