I think they fixed that loophole.

It still possible if the reg mark is showing with asterisks.

Best kebabs in the world: horse kebabs at Frit'Land in Brussels.  PHACKT.  Bastard Brexit tossers will ruin access to the perfect drunk-food single kebab market.

Cheap dizzle powered phase 3 Espace. A '97 too so classic insurable.

Starts up first time every time

Despite having 258,043 miles!

I'm off to see this later, god help me.  Being an early one it should have the 2.2 dTi I think, as opposed to the grenade like dCi.

For those who know, is there anything I should look out for?  Or is it a simple case of everything?

If nothing else I'd quite fancy the wheels for my Safrane, assuming they'd fit.

It's certainly cheap for so much car with an MOT, how bad could it really be?

No photos of the interior, as an MPV after nearly 300,000 miles I imagine it's quite delightful.  Let us know when you've bought it.

Had one of these for about 3 years, best family car ever. The only problem ours had was the cooling fan switch failed on a hot day in Central London. Can't remember if it either didn't have a guage or it didn't work , whatever,it was steam and smell that was the first sign- didn't do it too much harm - good engine that old pre DCi 2.2 , so good I replaced it with a mk4 2.2 DCi..........not such a good idea.

These were the pinnacle of the Espace concept, still made by Matra from plastic but much better quality than the earlier ones. Best glovebox of evah, too. We Had a 3 year old fall into the centre glovebox once.

A car check shows the current owner has only had it since January this year, and it's a one owner car before that which is potential good news.  Plenty of advisories in the past, but you'd expect that on a high miler I suppose.

Unless it's fucked the inevitable will happen as I've wanted to try one for a while.

Espace won't be happening now, as insurance wanted an extra £240 to put it on my classic policy.  Something to do with it being a 7 seater.  Bunch of killjoys, I was looking forward to owning an MPV I have zero use for!

Are these arches a Skoda thing? I genuinely can't tell if proper, or gifferbodge.

They were a Skoda option that virtually nobody went for. Good idea to hide the inevitable rusty rear arches before they've even happened. They do look particularly odd on a white car as they stand out even more. They need sill covers too to join the two together.

That Chinook camper thing is awesome, looks like the builder must have been to Graceland....
