I'm no expert but I'm pretty fuggin sure Jaguar didn't put Halfords budget range wheel trims onto the XK120.

I clicked on that thinking, "That looks OK apart from the poundland wheel trims"

Then I saw the price.

I've actually seen and been in this car yesterday. I saw it parked by the side of the road and took a few pics, the owner, came out and we got speaking about the car. He took me for a spin in it and does go well, everything works, it doesnt have power-steering or leccy windows but then as an autoshiter, why would you want to? The bodywork need a bit of attention though, it has a rust peice on the drivers door edge. Its up for about £475.

I'll post up some pics later.

I'd have it myself if I had anywhere to store my Sterling.

No disrespect Mo but that looks like a £300 car to me rather than something edging 5 ton. You can get really straight R8s between £350 and 500.

This looks fantastic for the money, even at £1500 it's good value for a fully loaded, low mileage 325i let alone the best offer part, shame it's bloody miles away in Southport.

This is seriously clean, and even better it comes from the local Ford garage (Candors Colchester) that i spent a lot of a younger years hanging around on a Sunday afternoon.

I've seen plenty of those Mini Mitsuokas but not one of these jumbo sized ones. I've been trying to figure out what it's based ones but I'm a bit stumped.

It's got a Nissan 2 litre straight 6 but I don't recognise the dash.

I'd love one of these!

I'd take it to a classic car show and park it next to some old duffer's Jaaaaag. 8)

Based on the Nissan Crew, apparently.

That 406 looks fun,& it's only down the road from me.Wonder if the gearbox would fit my Xantia

If you are considering it, buy it, have some fun, and I'll take it off your hands next time I'm over on the mainland (it would need to have the gearbox intact though!)

You'd think so, but they really aren't that bad. I had an sd1 2000 auto a while back, they aren't quite the unstressed and wafty motorway cruisers that the larger engined ones are thanks to lower gearing, but the O series is uprated to 101 bhp and gives a pretty good account of itself. they'll do a ton and 0-60 is around the 12-13 sec mark (which for comparison is roughly what a Pug 306 Dturbo does)

Still shit on fuel though. Ideal candidate for a Perkins Prima conversion, that'd drop straight in there. Not special enough to bother with in rough condition though.

I have never liked the look of the MX5. I never thought I would ever say this about one of these sort of kits but actually think that this is an improvement.

I suspect I might get shot down in flames here but I would quite happily do one of these conversions myself for a nice summer car.
