i want, no, i NEED to own this.....it Richard Longman's 1275GT which won the touring car championship back in 1978 and 79.

i used to dream about this car when i was small!

Remember this one from the car mags around 1980, think it was even on my wall along with the Spice Capris and Dolly Sprints and early SD1 V8s.

But, . . .

Estimated price £130k to £160k. Fuck right off.

Most of the text in the ad is meaningless drivel too, such as the 1275GT had a revcounter. Oh did it really?

As the GGG will recall, at that classic car show in Woodsmoor/Stockport we learned of the existence of hatchback Mitsuokas, by spotting a blue one.

I'm struggling with this. In some ways it's genius, reverse modernisation. But I can't help thinking why? Surely it is the complete opposite of what should be powering a modern rangie?

another low mile mini 30, and again in black.

it is not cheap at £9000, but it looks a right little bobby dazzler. i wonder if it still has it's leather bound copy of Mini-30 years of fun and Corgi Mini presentation pack?

asking prices for real mini's are bloody daft really. but i still would.....

I flippin love these, had three of the little screamers and have anorak levels of knowledge about them, but no way on God's green earth are they worth over 3 grand!! Especially not that one. I thought I was mental paying 2 grand about five years ago for the last one I had.

They also ALL end up in one of two places, Ireland or Bradfo........

Blimey, the Carina E is making some coin. Are those engines superior bummage material or is it all about the mid 90's yawn barge too?

It's the earlier version of the 3SGE (2.0 16v n/a) engine, as found in flip up headlight celicas and earlier mk2 MR2s, so nothing special, and about 20bhp down on later MR2s and round-light Celicas. Should have Toyota's fancy super-strut suspension but otherwise it's a 4 door Celica. i lie them becuase of the nostalgic Touring Car connection but not enough to pay that kind of money.

This car's been off the road since 1999, when it was filled with office equipment. For even more 90s fun, the seller somehow forgot to wind on his digital camera, resulting in this double exposure:

£850, which seems a bit steep for a knackered Skoda full of CRT monitors. Maybe the scrap price is high for lead, what do I know?

Presume the hero that wants the escort est to fit a 2.0 pinto in it realises its false wheel drive so needs mounts fabing, innerwing/chassis rail cutting to fit.

Oak on a grasstracker but zetec is easier/ neater on a road car.

Hahahahahahahahaha, that's fantastic! It's like they've pulled back the covers on an old master and found a picture of Timmy Mallet in his wife's slippers.
