don't these have a fancy gearbox in them which means that the vehicle is capable of travelling the same speed backwards as they can go forwards? (according to the advert, yes they do.....)

How the fuck is this even possible?

I mean, there are millions of cars out there on their unsnapped suspension struts for over a century.

Is really everything post 1986 made from bog rolls?

Whilst we're on about that sort of thing, another one that pisses me off is 'I have been told the problem is....' which actually means 'a mechanic said it's something fucking expensive, but Google said it could be the fuse.'

Lots of visible rust on that- and I bet there's nothing under the front and rear carpets but air. Brake master cylinder is a pain to get at - need to employ small child labour upside down in the footwell! Parts are cheap though. Hell of a dent in the driver's door too. Worth more than 99p though!

Always thought it was considerate of Fiat to paint in a tide mark BEFORE leaving the factory..................

The tide mark also got higher as the years progressed- there are something like three different levels with the same paint scheme. I like mine- it's all one colour :-)
