the car itself it £390. and its in  Redcar, that is 3 miles away from home.

It's at Marske. MC in Mccaffordablecars is better known as Mike Comerford for those with a good memory.

At what point did whoever built this think "Yeah, that's done, I'm really proud of myself".

 

Because some should have staged some kind of intervention at that point.

no, i've never heard of it either.

 

its not quite pink, not quite bronze or copper.

 

it must be one of the odd metallics BL used to do.

 

i really like it though, it suits the car, and is "of its time" been 1980.

 

i think i'm going to have a bid on that metro, i've added it to my watch list.

If that's the worst bit of it....

 

It really is fabulous in that trim and colour, but it would have to be a garage queen to keep it that good which I don't have room for too many spares, cars not enough cash etc.  

 

It must be worth 2k though at least.

 

Oh and don't try to drive it home, it's on original tyres!

This is almost certainly utterly fucked, which is a real shame.  I suppose there's still a chance that some brave soul will take it on though.  Can't tell what year it is from the pics but it looks like it could be a 6v / 3 speed car.

Posh diesel 405 estate.  High mileage and in need of a bit of tlc but dirt cheap.  He's even been truthful about what it needs for a test.

It still looks pretty good! The door's a slightly different shade of red, but other than that, not bad! Let's look at picture two anyway.
