WOW! I knew they existed, but I don't believe I've ever seen one on a C plate with my own eyes. Or anyone else's eyes.

How's about a H reg?

That 'C' reg 9000 is amazing. I spent far longer than is natural looking through the photos of it. Great find.

Can we arrange a delivery of booze to Wuvvum's on Saturday for when the sale is ending? Just to make sure.

The wheels on that DisAstra are banded version of the steelies that lurk under the hub caps of Zafira's and the like aren't they?

When I were a lad I used to work in Currys on the weekends on a nearby retail park. One of the salesman from the MFI next door used to have a dark blue one of these and would blat past me every night while I was walking home in the rain getting piss wet through. I thought these looked brilliant then, and they have improved with age.

And where are MFI now? You had the last laugh there alright.

219k and two months' MoT, a bit optimistic at £995?

I'd dearly love a Mk1, here's an early G-reg one. Eyewatering amount of money spent by the previous owner though, £14.5k since 2006! And still it's got the back wheels on the wrong way round.....

due to some bafoon of a mechanic it went it for an mot in august , they ran it out of petrol and then additionally  i had to order another fuel pump !! , after eventually getting the car back i went for a spin and the fuel pipe blew off the engine and luckily i was near an industrial estate where also luckily 2 guys saw the smoke and ran out and kept the damage down with fire extinguishers !! . The damage though had been done and even worse my insurance company wouldn't pay up as its over 30 years old , The garage responsible took it back and took the engine out and replaced the harness , unfortunately they don't know how to connect the wires back up , after much arguing and months of heartache i have decided to cut my losses and move on and sell her .

I was walking home past the Suzuka* GP circuit earlier and spotted this track day car. Sadly I cannot confirm about the LED door handles Reg Bolleaux. I wanted a head on but the driver was eyeballing me whilst he waited to get on track*

'please don't arrive here ST10 1EQ hoping to take the family off to Rhyl next weekend in it'

I'd rather spend a month in this on a layby outside a nuclear power plant than a weekend in Rhyl.

'Personalised Plate included'

I wonder what it is, because it sure as hell isn't the one on the car at the minute.

It starts and runes just fine and the engine is as sweet as a nut.  I fitted new glow plugs and a starter to it two weeks ago  it has had a recent aultnator and an oil change,,    The bad bits  it blows out water.  I have given it a block test and it shows no sign of head gasket problems but it has a blockage sumwere and i have no moor time to spend on it There is a small fuel leak  but as yet i have not looked to find it.  its just a clean car with M.O.T till march next year  just to good to throw away,.  plus it has new tyres on the back and almost new on the front  a great project for someone who knows wot that are doing

If you're capable of changing glow plugs and alternator then surely you can do a coolant flush. Chances of HGF being the culprit?
