This has been winking at me for a week or so from a tab that I can't bear to close in my browser. Even with its later wheels and busted gearbox it seems good value at what I imagine you'd drive it away for (Â£300-350?). Would be easy enough to source a gearbox and some more period correct wheels from the specialist forums.

This ad just screams "You dubber scene pricks will love this"...

As the truck is rear wheel drive, what it really needs is the original engine and box to be replaced with a Mazda MX5 engine and gearbox

Suspension wise it's MacPherson struts at the front with leaf springs at the back meaning both ends can be lowered easily.

The ad is well written and all, but personally I'd keep it as it it. Surely can't be too many of the Pony left, letalone the pick-up's.

There are some corkers in that ad, but this is probably my favourite -
