This vehicle was bought by my Father when new in 1980 for 5000 pounds and driven by my mother to the local shops since he died in 1986. 

 Christ on um bike - how far away are the feckin shops?

The car's in Devon, so probably about 25 miles!

 

And yes, the third Ford this evening that has got me excited!  Even allowing for Surplus Pedal Syndrome, I would.  Oh I so would.

They don't come much rarer than this.

 

Few people realise, that the 1958-60 Lincolns and Continentals were the largest monocoques ever built.

They are the ultimate Land Yachts and not many of them survived.

 

Even fewer people realise, why they framed the '61 onward Lincolns.

Oh, and downsized them considerably.

 

Oh, and even fewerer people realise, what I am trying to say.
