eBay tat volume 3.

Photos always flatter the car, so the paintwork on this must be frigging laughable. Still, hand-painted Minors are what the shite-motoring masses lived on; more please.

Originally purchased and extensively prepared to participate in a rally to Mongolia.
Grace could easily get there and back unfortunately after a few long runs we have realized that something more modern with air con would be more suitable for the older driver embarking on a 15,000 mile round trip

Go figure

I was tagged on FB.... MrsR has just added her own comment.  Suffice to say, it's in capitals, and not accompanied by a smiley.

Looks okay, this. It'll need a lot of work, but it looks like a solid base to start from.

Stripping that awful paint is going to be time consuming, and a roof won't be cheap but at least...

Proper early Freight Rover van.  2-litre O-series too, not the God-awful Land Rover diesel these early ones were afflicted with.

Price might be a tad optimistic mind given the state of it.

How do car phones like that stand with the current phone use law?

Hands free as well on the E38's.  Leave it where it is and answer via the steering wheel.

Back seat passengers get more use out of it.

Pity that 740 has sold as it looked quite nice with quite a few expensive options (especially the comfort seats)

Dome, you should buy it so I don't have to

But then you'll have to buy that Lotus at the auction...

Twenty years old and no rust ! Two owners from new. Still does 60 to the gallon.
I bought this car 18 months ago from a friend as a 'stop-gap' when my regular vehicle let me down.

Sounds pretty good

I still use it almost on a daily basis but I can not really justify owning more than one car and one van.

Seems like a busy chap

My wife prefers us to keep the Volvo which does 20 something to the gallon, because it 'looks' better. I personally would sooner do 60 to the gallon in an older vehicle.

LOL! I'm warming to the guy.

The Peugeot has only one small dent on the off-side front-wing, which has not even cracked the paint. If I took the inner wheel-arch out to get behind it, it would quite likely 'pop' back out.

Sounds like he's pretty handy with old cars too

I am 71 years old and 'can not be bothered'.

Flamin' 'eck! What a lightweight! I've gone right off him.
