That 305 has been on a few RR threads, i think the original buyer was going to fit a diesel into it but lost interest.  Was also on ebay fairly recently which should tell you all you need to know:

but that jaguar has the winners combination of hubcaps, cloth seats and the weedy engine.........

You've obviously never sampled the delights* of a 2.9 Auto XJ40.

Go and remove three of the plug leads on your XJR , pull the handbrake on , then try pulling out onto a busy road. That would still be faster than a 2.9.

That brown metro thing reminds me of a film called 'Bad Taste' from the late 80's. They drove a similar wheelchair chariot with a pic of the Beatles in the windscreen. Think it was an anglia!

with jaguars the wise heads in magazines and that always say that you should always have the 3.6/4.0 engine and leather and alloys.

and yes, these are all very, very nice things to have on a posh car like an XJ6.

but cos i iz a mentalist then i could take a perverse pleasure in having a car that is wrong in nearly every way.

plus, its £800 !!!

if only i had the space for it WCPGW......

'My boyfriend was impressed with the drive and he used to have a Porsche'

I told my missus I had a 12 inch tongue and could breath through my ears. That was also a lie.

I went to Llandudno on a Vespa once and it seemed like an epic journey. Kudos to this seller though...

I know it's Cars Not People on here, but the chap selling the red Nissan Sunny above (which, it would seem, is worth loads if the current desirability of Ford Sierras is anything to go by) in order to buy his son a moped, is also selling an Acer 3d projector. Of which:

"This was bought for my son who suddenly decided he wanted 3 monitors to play World of Warcraft instead"

I've bookmarked Martynohoey2015's eBay account as it looks to be far more entertaining than anything on telly.

I'm keen to learn more about his disabled house, is it listing to one side due to subsidence, I think we should be told.

It's better than Rhyl. But then again, what isn't? If you do go there try the Victorian weekend, it's actually brilliant.

Being dead is likely better than Rhyl.

I've never enjoyed Henley Blue. Car is tidy though.

What a honey. Imagine the irony if someone bought specifically because it ain't the k-series then it shat the head gasket anyway.
