I'm always amazed by these 'dealers' who think they can make a 100% profit for doing absolutley nowt. Why would anyone give them £8000 for that Rover when they could have bought it at a well-attended and publicised public auction a few weeks eralier for half that? Then they say 'we are sellling this vehicle for light recommissioning' well why don't you do some of that recommissioning and get it roadworthy or something? Add a bit of value to it FFS, give yourself a chance at least. Finally that advert is impossibly lame with almost no information about the car apart from a chunk of text straight off Wikipedia that tells you nowt about this particular example. Verdict: RUBBISH

I inquired about the car and received this reply:

We price our cars not to sell, unfortunately we have taken a deposit on the p6 estate . Regards

How can it be a barn find when it was taxed to end of Feb? Barn storage more like it given the size. cx centre tax disc ( as I have ) but then most did pass through his hands.

Car

'The word on it's own conjures up the single word description of a Pre-Raphaelite perambulation vis-à-vis a potential Pericardial effusion coloured painting of a single horse drawn carriage. One would imagine this surreptitious discovery to be one of great joy to the art world, that flocks of commoners and great people alike would scatter hitherforth and spread the word around the globe, before eagerly gathering at the Tate to admire it in it's resplendand and quite magnificent glory.

Or it's just a really shittily photographed car on a council estate'

I accidentally owned one of these once, it came as part of a complicated swap deal when I was selling a juke-box, luckily I sold it to someone even more around the twist than I am, who had it in their living room to sit in to watch tv and play on the games console.
