No, it's a development of the Ford Pinto engine. I think it's only available in the Galaxy, Scorpio and LPG Transits.

the 2.3 used in the galaxy/scorpio is a 16v version of the 2.08v  I4 first seen in the sierra/mk3 Granada (88-) ,the only thing it shares with the sohc (pinto) is the bellhouseing pattern & the clutch plt/pressure plt.

That Rascal has a Chalkney garage dealer sticker, that takes me back as we done a lot of work for that garage 15-20 years ago and I got to drive most their stock as it was my bosses brothers garage near Colchester, they have been gone at least 13 years now.
