Looks like it will be a right laugh shifting that! 500€

...might be telescopic? And yes, I do want it. And no, I have no idea what I'd do with it if I did have it.

pre 60 mot exempt you say well if this isnt a case for scraping that idea then nowt is

I agree wholeheartedly. That's a very extreme case but it does illustrate the point well. You can drag something out of a barn after 20 years and stick it on the road regardless. Mad.

Also, do I understand correctly that this now gives all the plate rapers out there carte blanche? Used to need an MoT to transfer a plate - no MoT now equals no problem?

I think that side panel lifts up because it's a mobile market stall/vehicle, very popular in France, quite ingenuous too.

Depending on the configuration, the entire market stall can be easily set up in minutes, with unfolding/slide out sections.

The (hugely optimistic) seller is so ashamed of it, he's opted for the 'Witness Protection' pic for his listing, (funny to get there and discover that he actually looked like that though!). :D

Buckingham palace...

Fuck, that thing makes a Panther DeVille look tasteful and restrained!

what a bargain, if you are in Ipswich!

Your not wrong, The trouble is they don't really do much for me and nobody else seems to want them and there's still quite a few of them knocking around town.

If anyone is interested i don't mind taking a viewing but i don't suspect it will be around long at that price, not with Foxhall Stadium around the corner.

hmmm, is it close to you Mike? I'm tempted and could come and get it at the weekend if the mot runs til then. It looks pretty tidy in the pic but they can rust on the sills and front wings and hard to tell from the pic in the dark colour.

Glorified kit car seller wrote ...

This very special vehicle was commissioned & built without compromise in design & quality, at 21 foot long is a big motor car, with an even bigger presence on the road, requiring a person of equally impressive stature to own a truly unique piece of motoring history.

Giant Haystacks, Big Daddy, Eric Pickles? (OK, I know two of them are RIP but there's as much chance as them rising Lazarus-like from that great ring in the sky and driving that thing down the A46 as there is of that seller flogging it for a quarter of a million quid.)

Looks like it's gone (whip st?) according to his f/b page.

Probably a bad idea anyway, £200 to buy it, £150 in fuel then an MOT etc. Looks a peach though, hope it's not bangered....if it is, I'd like the exhaust for mine!

There's another one for the shite deal-breaking points thread:

the car is a classic and will only increase in value as time passes.

Sadly just seen that that, Whip Street is the local scrapyard which means it's been crushed now.
