I do like those Passat estates. I would love to buy that, but I've run out of space and definitely low on the amount of coin it will go for...

 

I'd be turning it back to exactly as it left the factory though...

FATHA greengartside had a mk1 pisshat back in the 90's - bought it for £150. Was the first and only ever car to have the m.o.t abandoned due to it being dangerous to use on the road. Dad 'repaired' the affected areas - the boot floor was made up with fibreglass because it had rotted through - then punted on to get shot of it. Cheers, my incompetence has no limits! It's still an ugly car though I'd buy if cheaper for oddity value.

Very special scirocco named the penultima as it is the penultimate scirocco built for the UK, it was purchased by volkswagen audi car magazine as their feature car and tweaked and played with including one off recaro leather trim on correct frames , converted to discs all round, vortex steering wheel electric windows and mirrors lots more too explained in some of the magazines it has with the car! I purchased it last year after it had a ten year storage in a barn, new brakes all round cambelted rocker gasket lots more but if you like it and interested in completing a very nice low mileage scirocco come and view before she goes on ebay, unfinished project but easy to complete most parts needed I have and a few spares too

 

 

So this is the 2nd to last Scirocco sold in the UK then, Fit some better wheels on it and it will be ace. He told me he's looking for £2500 for it, seems fair?.

I will ONLY sell to an enthusiast - so expect to be asked lots of questions if you turn up to view or buy to prove your serious intentions to look after, care for and treat this MG properly - If I even get a whiff that you break MG's I will not sell it to you 

 

The money from a breaker is still money, isn't it? It's an MGF, FFS, not a Grade 2 listed building. I didn't want my Piazza to get broken up for its running gear, and they're a damn sight rarer. Unfortunately, the only people who came forward with money weren't interested in keeping it complete (they told me as much straight away) and I was skint. They turned up when prompted and the cash ...was cash at the end of the day. I'm tired of telling hysterical folk that if you sell something, you no longer get to play a part in its future. That's how commodity exchange works. 

 

Possibly why the bidding's only gone up to £52.50 at time of writing.  I didn't get this when buying the ex-Shitpeas VVC.
