This car started as an 80's 911 turbo that I bought as salvaged.

Keep talking

I fancied a project and as I'm a professional Volkswagen restorer I decided to merge Porsche into VW

Uh-oh

I had a beetle sitting around which had a good floorpan so decided to graft the Porsche body onto the Beetle floorpan

Is that my phone ringing I really need to go?

It is fitted with standard 1300 running gear and registered under theVolkswagen

N-kay bye

This gives me an idea for a whole new football league. Call it the '7-a-side Master League' perhaps? Each team has one of these. Two teams drive to a field, car park or patch of waste ground in their Renners, park at opposite ends, deploy the 'goals' and play! Would probably need to stock up on spare side windows.

I don't even like football.

I never was really interested in 911's but my goodness those old ones are lovely looking cars. This one needs a diesel engine chucked in it I reckon.

I have it on good authority (by the rat himself, no less...) that this sadly isn't the real deal, just a good imitation of the one that was on TV.

judging by the owners description, he either is or should be a crack smoker

WCPGW?

$_12.JPGAd says "nneds work" and "rolling restoration" and shizz like that, but it looks ok to me. Apart from that horrible spoiler on the front. The seats look like they need a feed too. Wonder what is REALLY wrong with it?

if its like all the Jensens I`ve encountered, probably years of bodgery. Cracked and bulging filler at the very least

I went to look at a Mercedes last week and the seller showed me the Jensen he had just sold for £12,500. Interior was nice, paintwork was quite rough (but looked ok from 10 feet away) with no obvious sign of filler bodgery, and he said it ran really well. I was surprised that it was a lot smaller than I remember them to be.
