It's the where the chassis rails pass out of the engine bay and curve down to run under the floor on either side.easily spotted through the wheel arch where the bottom wishbone bolts on.
Those and the roof around the sunroof if fitted are the biggest killers on the Manta

The later "Exclusive" models must have had rust injected into the sills on the production line.Even the carpets seemed to go on those....

Best of the bunch were the earlier "B" model,with the chrome bumpers (76-81ish)
