That Bond is still on the DVLA database.  Does that mean it would be easier or more difficult to repatriate I wonder?

What's involved in getting that rangie home? Taxes, import fees etc... it looks to good to be true at that money

Ooh!  Is that a Frégate estate?  Want!!!

Can't have though. :-(

Yeap a Fregate Domaine it is a little dear though at 700 euro. I sold this one a few years ago to a lady from Diss. Last I knew it was still sittiing outside where I dropped it off. I paid 700 euro for it with a spare running engine. I did know of a pair of them in Calvados for 1000 euro that would make 1 very good car out of the pair.

Fly to France, drive car home. Go on DVLA website and fill out NOVA form. MoT. Get a dating certificate from the RR club or whatever, apply for UK registration number (£55). Tax and insure. Drive. Easy!

That Dyna looks really nice, but it's too much money for something that is presumably gonna need a full engine/gearbox/brake/electrical rebuild. And they are generally pretty disappointing in most respects compared to a Dyna Z, with a truly 'orrible gearchange.

I have also obviously been eyeing it up for about 8 months

This looks nice for £180, especially as it has MOT, service history and lovely interior. It also has a misfire.

For £2500 I'd at least like the correct tailgate and bumpers fitted.

I sold mine last August at £2400..........still get calls on it now! Pics looked exactly like this.

Did not have 'rust areas' although to be truly top order it needed painting

Bumpers on mine were same too.........

1983 was the changeover year for the Fiesta and some features of the Mk 2 did appear on run out Mk 1's.

Would probably be easier than getting mine running again. Nice car, but a dodgy bloke selling it, who is well known in the Austin clubs for buying cars within the clubs (on the pretence that he's going to restore them) and selling them on, usually with very vague and misleading descriptions.
