Not a fan of these 'modern' Escorts at all but I bet this'd be a pretty good OSF investment if you sat on it for a few years. Also during that time you could get introduce some Nitromors to the interior and un-twatterise the dashboard.

Is removing all rear headroom the new stretched tyres?

People have been Coupe-ing (pronounced 'koop' please) Minors since the '70s, in fact I think 90% of Minors that got modded between about 1985-1990 got the treatment. It can - and usually does - look great, that one looks stupid because he's kept the standard roof height... It needs a good few inches chopping out and it'll look fantastic. And obviously a serious suspension drop, some lake pipes, maybe some Moon Discs... in grey primer.... yumz!

Roof chopped Minors used to look ace, remember seeing loads about back in the day and being impressed with them. Would just like to add 'Frenched in' round rear lights to that list, Barrett.

Now, talking of 'customising' check out this ARSE FONDLER

Nice clubman estate there. I will be praying tonight that it survives like that and doesn't get fucked about with.

Another CITREON C5 V6 for R9UKE. This one's in Dublin so you can save on ferry tickets

€995, but no tax or test so €500 might be more realistic.

Check out the tax disk: €1203 for 12 months.:shock: No wonder it hasn't been taxed since this time last year.

From a time when aerodynamics were things for planes and oil was mixed in with the fuel.

1200 Euros road tax??!!!! Fucking hell is that how much it costs in Ireland for big cars??? I had no idea. I sympathise with you guys over there :(

It's gone up since that car was last taxed. A 3 litre car would set you back €1400 this year.

My tax is €660 for the year on a 2 litre...

Christ on a bike that's outrageous...

For €1400 I would expect roads surfaced with vellum with gold foil blocked line markings. Is the price of fuel the same as over here?

Wartburg

That's BodieandDoyle's from R-R. I saw it a couple of years ago, and it's ACE. For anyone into Wartburgs in any sort of way, I reckon it's a BARG!

Ireland is a shite country for car enthusiasts as far as I can see. Theres hardly any interesting old roadside rammel, car tax costs a fuggin packet, and cars themselves seem to cost about 4 times as much as they do here. Dunno what insurance costs over there but i'll take a wild guess at 'absurd'

Howcome everything about this screams 'wrong'? Lowered, VW, modern wheels, stupid price tag etc...

But it looks so effing ace?

Aye, it's a good looking thing, and refreshing to see a less-is-more theme, but fifteen large? It'd buy you plenty 911, and that's where I'd put my money.

Still, horses for courses.

I'd expect a fucking blowjob after standing in a queue at the tax office for half an hour for that kind of money, but hey ho - the government's gonna tax its way back into the black.

Unleaded was €1.679 when I filled the wife's car this morning. It takes €90-100 worth usually. Diesel's a bit cheaper at €1.589..
