I've looked at Jap 4x4s at various times and always ended up buying something from Solihull. I think it's because when something breaks on a Land Rover the costs for parts is next to nothing and there is such an enthusiastic following that every town and village has at least one person with a couple of rotten old Land/Range Rovers lying around to sell( often give!) you what you need to get your old heap up and running for work tomorrow.

 

Family and friends who have succumbed to Hiluxes and Troopers and the like soon revert to proper rusty, overvalued British vehicles- we're not the fuckin Izal or worse,Australian ,you know!
