That SD1 is awesome, check out the extensive gaffa tape work!

EIW is the noise your Mrs would make when you brought it home before telling to to park it 3 streets away.

That silver SD1 is AMAZING.

PROS:

  • Duct tape on the windscreen, bumper, mirror, rear quarter panel, rear lights and the steering cowl entirely fabricated from the stuff.

This needs the sills welding, but:

it is fitted with 1500 dolomite engine also comes with the original engine and a spare1500 spitfire engine

That could be a nice little car! So I just need to weld the sills and I'm on the road, right?

the original engine i removed needs rebuilding so i fitted a 1500 dolomite engine was told it was a good runner but have not heard it running requires finishing of ie exhaust and manifold, timing and connecting up the carb ect ect, the spare 1500 spitfire engine was bought off ebay again not heard running

Okay, so we might have three knackered engines.

But at £900 ono I still think this is a good project for someone considering all the stuff you get with it.

It's in Foulmouth in Cornwall, so I expct Phil_LHM-Piddley_flip is probably on his way down to buy it now.

This is how most people remember SD1's, a proper period looking car.

T&T and currently making £205 though.

That is one shonky Rover.

Breadvan is on holiday. At that price, I'm seriously considering buying it to park outside his house with a ribbon round it and 'Welcome home' written on the side in yet more gaffer tape. Who's in?

PS Major throbbage for that Magnum.
