That Metro sleeper is the best example of a wolf in sheep's clothing I've seen for a long time - I particularly like the Christian fish thingie on the tailgate :D

That Streetwise is mega-fit and super cheap still considering there is a gang of people bidding. What is the hidden danger?

You'll end up owning a Streetwise. Not that hidden really.

EDIT: I should add, '...and Danger is my middle name', 'would' etc. etc.

I'm sure that Volvo was doing the rounds on RR a year or so back. I bet that v8's knocking out all of about 100bhp.

NONE MORE FUGLY.

£1495 seems a bit fricking rich given it was last on the road in 2007.

I've been watching this as it's been the only one on ebay recently. A TransSport is exactly the people carrier I really want. Seriously, it doesn't get any better. However... not this one. It is indeed terribly salty considering it's been standing; so much so I'm going to need a 12-pack of Pepsi with it. Being at the far end of the world is actually a bonus, as it means I won't be bidding on it.

Also, this is the severalth time round. It's not selling. Not a good sign.

There's someone local to me got a turquoise one of those and it's a right honker.

I really fancy running a massive auto estate on veg oil - as a matter of urgent economic necessity, as I drive about 209 miles a year and will be literally QUID IN.

W124s are getting too old and/or expensive, so it'll prob be one of these.

Doesn''t appeared to be speckled with the usual rust buboes and looks generally all right for £999.

The thing I like the most about the Streetwise is that it was such a stupid idea (urban on roader and all that bollocks) dreamt up by a company desperate to rebrand some ageing products and VW fell for it and thought they needed to jump into a sector that doesn't exist with the Polo Dune.

Suckers!!

Re Lumina... It'll probably drink a lot more fuel than the tragedy of a Ford S-mack but you will look SO much cooler than all the other Dads in the plaayground. Spend the change on something nice.

Look at this stonker. Who knew they put the 2.4 5 pot Alfa diesel motor in the Marea? I bit it can shift.

IIRC they put the engine in the Fiat before the Alfa. At my time at Fiat, I used to love these. pretty rare though, I think I only PDI'd about six of them in the two years I was there.

Isn't this the one that was recently posted on here for sale near Basildon for £500?.

Edit - Yes it is.

Seems like that Senny should have gone in the "Bargains" thread.

I can honestly say that this is the most troublesome car I have ever had the misfortune to waste my money on

I am selling it now as I refuse to support the French economy any longer by buying things from Renault, who incidentally are hopeless

I should list some good points about the car, but there aren't any
