Actually, I think you could get a non-turbo quattro, which is presumably what that is. I don't mind the treatment actually and at least with one of those you avoid the hideousness that is the snobby world of ur-quattro.

This is on my doorstep but I've never had the (mis)fortune to see any of these fine masterpieces on the road. Obviously I'm more than happy to investigate further should anyone on here feel their life is incomplete without orange paint and stickers.

That's a steal, it would be 3-4k over here depending on the incense and shit VW branded clothing markets at the time. Someone with more time, money and endeavour about them could make weeks holiday and a couple of grand driving that back at its 57mph top speed

Its only in paris, so if you got an Easyjet or Jet2 early on in the day you could be back in blighty with it the same day. Getting it home from Dover would take longer than the rest of the mission!

A lad at work had a FTO. Thought it spun the earth when he accelerated, Really it lost about 100hp through the automatic wankbox it called a transmission. It also came with a "Valuable" FTO fitting plate that he told everyone "Yea I paid £1500 for the car but the plate is worth £1000+" Yes love, But you don't realise the plate is only worth what someone will pay for it, and with it being FTO based you have a fairly limited market. The car got sold a year later with a £1000 loss.

 

The manual V6 ones are apparently a good laugh, Automatics however seem to be horrible, hateful pieces of shit I wouldn't give a fiver for.

I went to Richard's funeral today. With a cortege of 8 pandas and 3 multiplas he had a proper 'autoshite' send off... 8)

 

That red 4x4 is very nice though - lovely condition.
