1981 SPECIAL WOLFRACE SONIC Sports PETROL Manual

Wow, it's still around. I thought it had disappeared years ago.

I remember there were problems getting the engines synchronised and getting the drivetrain combination to work, which is understandable - 2 Rover V8s mounted side by side powering through two autoboxes to a Jag diff. They did get it to drive though.

The technical details would be interesting - the buyer may need to be an expert in witchcraft.

Great to see it's had a RR grille reinstated after such a long hiatus,

But after the court case, I wonder if it's done just for publicity? I can see it ending up in court again, with probably the same result

tfw ur heater control is a blanking plate

It'll be fine - forward motion is provided by the driver in Anthill Mob mode - that'll keep you warm enough

Wasn't it black originally.

It was black in the early 80s magazines. I think I read somewhere that another one was built about 10 years ago but I could have imagined that. Don't know when it was red.

I've had a good old bid on that, but I think it'll make mega money.  Popular in Africa - even today - and there will be nerdy Gen Z'ers wetting their knickers and spending their avocado savings on it.

Bit of  a bargain this, by the looks of it at six hundred bins. The standard exhausts are NLA so fingers crossed that doesn't do the usual.

Bloody lovely that. Impressive, too, if a  1961 200cc bike really did 80MPH.  Says the plate is transferable, but it's 'not taxed for on road use' and no MOT results returned, so wouldn't they just tell you to FRO if you bummed it for the plate? Not that anyone should, of course.

It wasn't as nice as the eBay one though.  Although it was RHD.

Have we had this yet?  Diesel Spacevan.

Presumably powered by a Perkins 4.107 or something equally dismal and probably quite horrible to drive.  Still would though.

Remember driving one of those space vans as a 17 year old. Very slow, sliding doors which was great, and the different track front to rear. Would definitely have one again.
