Bloody hell part 2:

Ford Capri MK3 - Picture 6 of 21

Ford Capri MK3 | eBay UK

It's a 1.3 with no rear wash/wipe, and (possibly) no door mirrors were fitted.  Anyone who fucks about putting stupid wheels/spoilers/engines in this should be forced to eat Taylor Swift's shit sandwiched between broken Catatonia CDs.

I bought a v similar one that was 18 months old in the mid 90's. I had a loan for it. I was 26ish and thought I was doing the right thing getting a good* nearly new car. I hated it and much preferred my preceding Mazda 323 that fell to bits.

This has had two owners from new, my old boss and then myself from 17-12-2003. Lots of paperwork, serviced with Mercedes until around 2010, then my local garage who have been keeping it on the road since. Mechanically sound, excepting the air conditioning which died years ago, and it's in need of exterior cosmetic love. Interior cream leather in pretty good overall condition, but upper head lining needs attention and there are some minor fixes needed. Outside the body work is showing its age, two rust holes (one each wing, currently taped and the paint work is scratched in several places, and lacquer has failed (see pics). I hardly used the soft top, when last activated it looked pristine. I've not really used for roughly two years, but it has been run every so often to keep it ticking over. It passed its MOT last week, but had to have a new fuel pump fitted. All the advisories are age-related and to be expected. It's time to pass on a much loved car, to someone else to enjoy and restore her to her former glory. Happy to sit in on a test drive, but please bring proof of insurance. Priced to sell.

Weirdest fault description ever, the brake pipes keep popping off ???? What? I say again WHAT?
I think he might be referring to the front suspension strut leak back pipes for returning LHM, but popping off brake pipes would be almost impossible unless someone has made a real bodge of flaring some pipe with a Citroen 3.5mm ‘bubble’ flare. And even then they wouldn’t just ‘push back on’
As an aside I partly learnt to drive in a 1987 BX that colour.

Quite a few bits if they were going for originality.

Colour of the wheels for a start and I dont like to see a club spec/Dyane steering wheel in a car that should have the gin rim special type, especially fitted in that position for straight ahead wheels. Never seen screws and washers holding on the heater tubes before either

There's a badge on the back that says 'Old man edition'. Presumably the speed is limited to 20mph!

That would be the Welsh Edition.

He posted this pic on facebook. Does that offer any insight? Am tempted!
