Spears or reapers Montego. Form an orderly queue. £450 Shrewsbury

Although a different plant (military and trains, iirc) Perkins had a factory in Shrewsbury. I think it was the Peterborough depot that made the engines in these.

I think this is the one Johnny Smith did a “barn find” episode on and he couldn’t get it running.

How can someone not get a Mk3 Cortina running? As simple as cars get f.f.s.!

I thought when a CF comes up on Ebay, it doesn't matter whether it is suitable or not, it is the law to tag @eddyramrod?

He says he's another shell available which would be ideal as that's what I did to mine in the three day week we suffered caused by the 1981 recession in the steel industry (mine was a brand new shell, one of a pair I found in a scrappies ).

Forty years on, the only difference is I wouldn't be outside in pouring rain dragging a rear axle off, oh, and probably a divorce as I showed my Mrs the pic and she said "that thing"!!!

That's round the corner from my house!

Pieman posted it in the Spotted thread one time and a couple of years ago it was at FOTU.

It's a Dutton Sierra kit car which I think is based on a mk2 Escort

Pink camouflage is an interesting choice.

Paid £30 for my manual version from my office mate as that's what the scrappie offered him. Came with a month's MoT (passed next one) and tax. Had it a couple of years until I jet washed the engine bay.
